Leeds based indie dream-pop artist LELO has announced the release of new single About A Journey on 7th June via The Boy Who Left Home To Learn Fear.

With a sound that blends alternative pop and indie sensibilities, 21-year-old LELO, aka Ronan Peaker, brings everyday occurrences into his songwriting whilst adding dreamy glimmer that makes them seem anything but ordinary. New single About A Journey follows recent releases I Looked At The Sun and Breathing, and is the debut release on the brand new Bradford-based label The Boy Who Left Home To Learn Fear.

With a lush and layered sound, the song builds in a measured fashion to a pop-tinged chorus of delicately honest vocals and distorted guitars. An introspective video shot between the countryside and the seaside, and featuring Ronan himself, will be released soon. Ronan says;

“The main musical hook of the song had been floating around my head for a while, and I wrote all of the lyrics whilst walking through the city to work one night. I was just paying more attention to all of the things we see throughout society on the regular but rarely give a second thought to. I wanted to tell a story and a write song that was barely even about me. I found it really freeing.”
